1 Charged, 1 Released in Murder of Model
June 22, 2010
Initial court hearings were held today for the two people accused of killing aspiring model Juliana Redding.
Kelly Soo Park, 44, has been held pending payment of a $1 million bail set by the court. The court also ordered the other suspect, Ronnie Wayne Case, 34, released. Although both were arrested by Santa Monica Police for the murder, it was not explained why Case was released.
Juliana Maureen Redding was found dead on March 12, 2008 in her home after her mother reported to authorities that she had been unable to contact her daughter. Redding moved to Tuscan, AZ to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career and resided initially near Newbury Park.
Santa Monica police Sgt. Jay Trisler announced that, “The Santa Monica Police Department is continuing to investigate this crime and there is the possibility of additional arrests.”
