Conejo Valley USD Approves $11 Million in Budget Cuts for Upcoming School Year

Last week the Conejo Valley Unified School District Board of Education’s budget committee presented recommendations for cutbacks to the board for the 2010-2011 school year in excess of $11 million.

Although the cuts range in the millions of dollars, this is just the first phase of cuts. This range of cuts affects areas like faculty and staff and school site reductions. Additionally, the board approved slashes to the adult school budget and the libraries’ instructional media techs.
