Opponents Claim Julia Brownley Lacks Ventura County Ties

One day after announcing that she will be a candidate for the 26th Congressional District, opponents of State Assemblywoman Jula Bronwley (D) went on the offensive.

Representatives for State Senator Tony Strickland (R) said Brownley is a Santa Monica liberal whose political views are outside the mainstream of most Ventura County Voters.

Brownleys’ four Democratic opponents emphasized that she has never lived in Ventura County and will move to an apartment in Oak Park only this week.
