Rash of Burglaries, Vandalisms Strike Newbury Park

The Ventura County Sheriffs Department reported numerous car window-smashing and burglaries in Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park.

Witnesses to the various crimes reported seeing three to four men in a Mazda sedan. Authorities believe the vandalism and burglaries were all related.

Residents on Lynn Road and Wendy Drive in Newbury Park first reported about a dozen vehicle break-ins. Cars on Holloway Street and Fowler Avenue were also struck.

At around 3:30 a.m. four car windows were smashed on Avenida de Las Flores in Thousand Oaks.
